I planned the cruise 3 weeks ahead of time for spring break with my husband. We both have never been on a cruise. We disembarked from our port hours later than expected but we didn’t care exploring the ship was fun. The cruise went from NY to Port Carnaval FL, great stirrup cay and Nassau Bahamas. My first experience with Norwegian Cruise Line was negative and I approached the Gem with low expectations. Happily, this cruise was miles better than the last and I'm looking at NCL in a new way.
