Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Seaview

First things first the food is disgusting, the service is really bad, the workers disturb you 24/7 with food/drink packages even in a middle of your dinner... The cruise itself is cheap but everything else is expensive Me and my wife got a reserved table (which cannot be changed) near 6 other strangers we don’t know You have to wait for about 10 minutes for the lift to arrive We got a ...

Have been on many cruises including msc but The Bellissima is a ship out to bleed cruisers dry every way you turn the are trying to get money from you even when in the dining room which they refer to as the complimentary restaurant they pester you to buy steaks and to use the gourmet restaurants which are pricey it’s a joke .Another thing most of the bar staff I found where cheeky and ignorant and ...

Great experience in all areas

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Preziosa

After reading so many negative reviews of the MSC Preziosa, our entire family felt that we have to share our great onboard experience. We boarded the ship in Genova, a quick and effective process which was started even earlier than announced. The rooms were also ready early and our cruise cards perfectly prepared in the cabins. The Preziosa is a big ship but well designed and the signage ...

Many plusses. . .Many minuses

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on MSC Meraviglia

First, although Cruise Critic insists on calling this a 5-night leaf-peeper run, it was in fact a 13-night repo from New York to Miami via the Eastern Caribbean. My wife and I booked this cruise as a target of opportunity: a nice way to celebrate her birthday, a nice opportunity to see our kids in New York before the cruise, and a nice opportunity to visit cousins in Florida afterward. We chose ...

Cruise staff going the extra mile

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on MSC Meraviglia

After 36 cruises (on different cruise lines), we found a team at the Edge Bar that went above and beyond to be helpful and friendly. They were always courteous, hardworking and very professional. They were Neptin Alie, Gregory Jean, Mariel Magallano, Angela May Lamog, Max Magotsi and Yange Ndayi. They took care of us for 23 days. The atmosphere with them around was always pleasant and ...

Love the MSC Armonia

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Armonia

We choose this cruise based on price and itinerary. Embarkation was quick and efficient, we boarded 2 hours before the time our cruise ticket stated. We had an interior cabin and size was comparable to other lines. There is not a lot of storage and the shower is extremely tiny but we managed. I loved the decor of the ship especially the rum bar. Food was hit or miss both in dining room and buffet ...

Had a really good time as usual we dont let the little stuff get to us.The crew were unreal and worked harder than ever to make our vacation as good as it could be. THE PROBLEM? The company completley misses the mark on the importance of quality and making tools available to the staff. We have done about 15 cruises now Royal Caribbean, celebrity,Cunard, Seabourn, viking and even Carnival and ...

Gorgeous ship, great itinerary

This ship is absolutely beautiful. Everything was clean and fresh and shiny. The food was good to delicious in the MD and the buffet. In fact, the prime rib was better than we had recently at a local steak house. We enjoyed the Cruise Critic party. It was held in the Sky Lounge and was the largest number of guests to attend. There were drinks and snacks and we got a chance to meet the ...

All around great cruise!

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Armonia

The Armonia is a classy ol' girl full of charm & character... and currently has some of the best crew we have ever experienced in all our cruises- which is saying a lot as we really haven't had a bad cruise... a disappointing cruise or two, but never a bad cruise. Embarkation was easy peasy, almost as smooth as debarkation. We noticed the ship was warm in certain spots the first day and a ...

First MSC cruise

Due to the fact that it was a two week cruise down to my preferred destination, southern Caribbean, and that it left from New York (bused to Manhattan from Montreal/flew back from Miami) which meant I would sail by the statue of Liberty, as well as it was totted to be an interesting ship and my introduction to MSC line. Could not resist. Ship was good sized, slightly unique (French builder), easy ...
