This was our second cruise on the Valor in 2 years...This 8 day Southern Caribbean cruise took us to islands that we never visited prior to this cruise. We travelled with good friends from Central Ontario and Central Michigan and we were all impressed. The ship is spotless and the crew do an exceptional job cleaning this large ship.

We ate in the dining room every night and morning and found the food to be very good with good portion sizes and lots of variety. The deserts were exceptional. The waiters were very friendly and went out of their way to serve us .The Lido deck also offers good variety however the best time for lunch is the 1.30-2.30 time frame as noon is very busy.

Entertainment was excellent most nights with a good variety however the sail away show and the show on the last night are dated and need to be changed. Also the popcorn served on the lido deck during movie nights is tasteless(No butter) and needs to be improved. As usual the Lido deck chair hogs were out in full force and Carnival needs to do a better job of policing this.A lot of people go out at 7am drop a beach towel on a chair and leave for several hours believing the chairs are reserved by this method thus depriving other passengers of these chairs.
