My husband and I are in our 40s and this was our 4th cruise, 2nd with Celebrity, as with every cruise we've been on - it was fantastic. We were definately in the minority as far as age - most folks were retired, very few children on board - we expected this with the longer cruise. We travelled with my brother and sister-in-law.

Hotel - We drove down from Ontario the day before the cruise and stayed overnight at the Country Inn and Suites by the Newark Airport - directly across from an outlet mall - which was a great place to stretch our legs after 7 hours of driving. Great hotel, buffet breakfast next morning was included - hopped in the car and were at the port within 20 minutes.

Embarkation - we arrived at the port around 11am, and although there was a bit of confusion as to where to unload your baggage, it did not take long to hand the bags to the porters and park the car. The check in process was quick and easy, obtained our sea pass cards - photo taken right at the check in counter, out to the bus and on to the ship by 1130.
