Cabin: Central Park View Stateroom with Balcony

Wanting to try a 6000 passenger ship after cruises on just about every other size ship we opted for the Oasis of the Seas. Our cabin was an 11th deck inside balcony overlooking Central Park with its 12,000 bushes and trees. We sat out there for breakfast as well as for just people watching.

We both loved wandering through the large ship with myriad works of art, the entertainment and were amazed at the quality of dining room food. The buffet area is far too small for the ship so we ate mostly in the dining room.

Our cabin steward and dining room waiters were spectacular and bent over backwards to please us. The differing entertainment venues (all excellent)require reservations, so get those before you sail. Fellow guests on a non-holiday sailing were mixed. There were older couples as well as many families with small children which we found delightful.
