We winter in Florida so we had a friend drive us over to the Tampa terminal.

We had a great trip. We have gone on 3 previous cruises, one with Carnival and the others with different cruise lines.

Embarking went really fast, friends dropped us off at the Tampa Terminal, around 12:15pm and within a half hour we were on the ship.

Cabin Review

Extended Balcony

Cabin 8K

Only issue we experienced, was our cabin 5123, I booked late and didnt have much choice, it is a connecting cabin, I didnt realize this until we were in and could hear lots of noise the first couple of hours, but we were fortunate the people were really quiet all week, but, had they been rowdy and partiers or with kids, you could have a problem.

The other problem was when the early show at 7pm or the late at 9pm are on and it includes music the whole cabin will vibrate, literally the first night the music started, we called Guest Services as we assumed the cabin below us the people must have had,a major stereo system in the cabin. The floor in the bathroom was vibrating as well as the deck. You couldnt hear the TV. Guest Services told us it was the show music and would be over. We were usually out and missed most of the noise but one evening were back before the show ended and again the vibration was unbelievable. We realized after looking at the diagram of the ship the cabin was located above the Follies Theatre...be aware if you are booking this cabin or ones around it, I cant imagine how loud it was on the 4th deck.
