Well this was our 2ND cruise with Princess and we had previously sailed on the Ruby in 2009. The cruise was a Graduation present for our youngest daughter, however she was the only 17 year old on board and there were only 5 other teenagers. I don't mind an older cruise but this one was such a old average age that it was kinda a bummer even for my wife and I who are both 45. We just prefer a mixed crowd and this was really just an older crowd, however with that said I really enjoyed the poker table and the players they were all very nice and fun to play cards with.

The weather was windy for much of the trip and very rough and windy a couple of nights, and the ship was rocking hard from side-to-side. For the first time ever on a cruise we had 2 of the 3 in the cabin sick. I know that nature is in control but it was really bad this trip. As another reviewer stated it was almost like a retirement home feeling at some venues. We had planned to cruise every year or so and stick with Princess for the loyalty program benefits, but now think we will give Celebrity a try to see if we feel more comfortable on their ships. It was not terrible, but it was certainly not great. Sorry I can't be more positive because I really wanted to love this cruise. I stole that last part as I couldn't write it any better!

Also I want to send out a big thumbs up for the Cruise directors staff they were awesome and we really enjoyed there entertainment. However Lee Childers the Cruise director really should be replaced he was awful and non existent. The shows were generally very good and we did not mind the new 30 minute shows.

Good cabin, small for 3 of us but had a large balcony on the aft end of the ship. Long walk from anything on the ship though.
