Tampa was a good port to leave from. I liked it better than Miami & Ft. Lauderdale. It is a much smaller city. I would stay downtown close to the cruise port.
We were 4 women. One was 42, another 50, another 54 and another 62. We have all cruised before.
The food was very good and the service tremendous! We had the best waiters I've ever had. A special touch was a wandering magician who performed while one waited for dinner to be served. I wish they did that on all the ships. We used the dining anytime option but were always able to get into the section we wanted within a few minutes of whenever we arrived.
This is the first time on a cruise that I could hear the people next door slamming their door to balcony - and they slammed it over and over and over again! You could also hear a lot of noise on the decks when people moved their chair or table around. The weather was so nice we were all outside enjoying it so that may have contributed to all the noise on the decks.
The room itself was pretty standard. There was enough room in the shelves & drawers for 2 women's clothing. The bathroom had lots of shelves which was very nice.
