We cruised the Sun with our 26 y.o. Son and 13 y.o. daughter and had a fabulous time. No, there is no wave rider, merry-go-round or ice skating rink but the ship is so comfortable and the crew is so pleasant and accommodating that we got what we want out of a cruise, which is an escape from the stress of our jobs and time to enjoy ourselves as a family.

Our daughter was a little sad when she discovered that there were only eight teens aboard and only six who spoke English, but she went to the teen club and met some girls and they had a blast together. (The previous week there had been over 100 teens so this was just the luck of the draw.) They enjoyed eating together in the sports bar, meeting at the pool and going to the shows.

This was our first cruise in a suite and that was wonderful. The concierge made sure that we were happy with our accommodations, dining experiences and access to the shows. He also made embarkation and debarkation a breeze. Our cabin steward was the best we have had. Read more
