Feeling fed up with grey skies we booked a last minute cruise on Jade to go and look for some sun in the Canary Isles. The cruise was fine for the money we paid for it. We have sailed with NCL over 10 times now and must admit things are not as good as they were when we first started. The lack of chairs and tables in the buffet has become an increasing problem, but you can always go to the MDR for breakfast and lunch, if you have the time.

Our balcony cabin on Deck 9 was clean, tidy and well serviced, but some of the extras have disappeared - no nice toiletries, just a dispenser. Nice to have a coffee machine in the room though.

We enjoyed two meals in Le Bistro - really good - and one in the Italian Papa's Kitchen - enjoyed by both of us, but ordered too much as usual! The freestyle dining meant we could be sociable or otherwise - when we shared a table we always seemed to enjoy the company of the other diners - NCL try to make sure you share with people who speak the same language which is always a good idea

Good place to be to get to the Dining rooms and the buffet only two decks up but the theatre is at the other end of the corridor.
