We had a wonderful time on the Norwegian Star. One of our best cruises ever, and we have taken many.

The Highlights

* I have never seen such a friendly, professional and caring crew. So many of the crew knew all of our names after just 1 or 2 encounters, it was really special. First time I have ever witnessed passengers and crew hugging each other at debarkation. The crew is what makes this ship special.

Cabin Review

Family Suite

Cabin SJ

Family Suites (SJ) on the Star are a great value. Plenty of storage space, large bathroom with separate tub and rainforest shower. Beware of the sofa bed, it may be OK for children to sleep on, but most adults would be uncomfortable on it. Murphy bed was more comfortable. Wonderful floor to ceiling windows, with small children it was a relief NOT having a balcony.

Location on deck 12 is so convenient, near pools, childrens programs and Cagney's rstaurant for Suite breakfast and lunch. Deck 12 has been completely refurbished and is really nice.
