Back to Backs on the Epic were perfect for us...

And ten of our last eleven cruises have been with NCL. Obviously we like their brand of hospitality - and we book Penthouses because of the perks.
As usual for us, we stayed in Embassy Suites Miami a couple of nights before the cruise (can't trust the weather in January). Embassy Suites is now own by Hilton and has gotten expensive. Still we like breakfast being included and the managers reception each evening.
Took shuttle service to the cruise terminal and arrive there at 11:30. With VIP check in we were on board and having lunch in the EPIC Club restaurant before noon. There we met Ruth our concierge for this and a previous Epic cruise - she took excellent care of us - as did all of the crew and staff we met.
We really need to give special recognition to Rogeliza, Asst M'tr D, Dominika, Hostess and More Edith, Khellen, JoAnn, Ramona, Natalie, Kerr and all the others who made us feel VERY VERY special - I can't imagine a better experience any where else. More on our anniversary celebration later.
Although we ate most of our meals in the Epic Club Restaurant, we did Le Bistro, Shanghai, Great Outdoors and found the service and food to be outstanding - especially Le Bistro for French Onion Soup, Escargot and Rack of Lamb.
Saw Legends and thought Steven Tyler was super - Second City is usually hit or miss and this time was a miss. Blue Man Group not our kind of humor.
The ports were good - strolled St Maarten, took the Sky Ride in St Thomas (spectacular views) and went to Atlantis in Nassau (once is enough there).
Now, for the best part - our 44th wedding anniversary was Friday on our 2nd week. It started at breakfast with HUGE anniversary cake and five staff singing "Le me call you sweetheart" - continued at lunch when one of ladies sang her and her husband's favorite love song - and finished at dinner with flowers, candles, special cheeses and fruits, a bottle of bubbly and another rendition of "let me call you sweetheart". It's memory we'll treasure for ever.
