I'm writing this review late, because I just became a member. We have cruised on the Jade twice before, but we will be going a third time on Saturday. My husband is stationed in Germany and we feel very comforable on Norwegian, so that is why so many cruises on the same cruise line/ship.

Our first cruise was November 2010 out of Barcelon and the second in September 2011 out of Venice. We always arrive a day early, so there is no chance of missing the cruise, plus we get to explore the port city.

I have read many reviews of the Jade, some really great ones and some that are the most depressing reviews I have ever seen. My husband and I have always enjoyed our experiences. Any where we go, we always treat people with respect and have never had any issues with the staff or crew. I can't imagine signing a contract for 9/12 months and having to put a smile on my face every single day. Some how the staff manages to do it, I always am fascinated knowing when we get off the cruise the staff has to pretend like it is the first cruise walking through the ship. Read more
