We booked our cruise with Norwegian with no problems and found most of our questions were accurate and most helpful.

We arrived at the pier around 11am and boarded around 11:50ish. (they did let us on 10 min. early) Check in was absolutely seamless. I had planned on an overhaul being my first time, (no passports.. went with birth certs) and we sailed right through. Nice start!

Following up on a tip, I went directly to deck 12 and purchased our soda cards first thing and ate lunch. Tip: When it starts to get crowded at the food buffet, (and it will), do a tour of the ship. Our luggage arrived in our room around 5:30ish so bring a toothbrush in your carry on bag and anything thing else you might need to get you through till then.

Our stateroom, 5108 is the 2nd to last room aft. The pluses are there is no traffic going by with other guests, and its a quick dash to deck 4 where debarkation takes place at ports, but there is a staff room access point right across the hall. Regardless,we never had any issues with noise. The beds were firmer than I am accustom but slept well. Everything was in well working order except when I took a shower, the water would get really hot, then ice cold, then hot, cold... I am not sure if this is a normal for this is my first time on a cruise so I am sure the demand for hot water gets tricky.. ( I guess?? ) Housekeeping was fantastic. Thank you Marlin!!!!
