We got off to a little bit of a late start due to something being wrong with one of the ship's propellers. Carnival did an excellent job keeping everyone happy by offering an on-board credit for lunch, and a shuttle if you didn't want to wait in line.

We live locally, so I apologize for not having any hotel or flight recommendations.

The ship had so much to offer. We loved the serenity deck. You had to get there early, because it was a popular spot. I recommend going there when you get on the ship. It was a great way to start the vacation. We grabbed a drink at the bar, and found a hammock on the serenity deck. It was pure bliss!

Cabin 4D

Small room, but was an adequate amount of space for what we needed. It was located directly under the bridge, which was not a problem for noise. However, if you do not like to wake up early at ports, the anchor was very loud in this room, and will wake you up. Room located at the very end of the hall next to a handicap accessible room. The dining room was located on the opposite end of the ship, so it was a long walk to dinner each night.
