This was our first cruise on Carnival and for the price, it was a good choice for us. Due to the fog, the ship was late getting into Galveston but that was fine with us as we only live 20 minutes away.
We didn't care much for the layout of the ship. Walking through the pool area everytime we wanted to go eat at the buffet was a bit awkward. The food was mostly good and there was plenty of it. My husband loved the Deli sandwiches.
Dinner in the MDR was really good and we had a great table. Formal night was lots of fun. We had the lobster and the chocolate melting cake was to die for.
Cabin was nice, large and pretty quiet except for the loud talking of the kids walking up and down the stairs to and from the Camp Carnival area above.Bed was more comfortable than ours at home. Loved the sheets! Balcony was smaller than others we've had in the past but we still enjoyed it.
