I have cruised 6 times before this one and have to say that this particular cruise has cut lots of corners and pinched where they could to make our experience mediocre. Boarding the ship was rather easy and went quite smoothly. Our room was nice and suitable for 2 people. The balcony is a must, if you have ever cruised without one you don't know what you are missing.

The food on the Lido deck had several different stations and they all basically served the same thing and none of it was very good. Not much choice, taste overall was bland, deserts were dry, burgers were over cooked. The pizza station and cook to order areas were nice if you didn't starve to death while standing in line. I don't remember any other cruise where I had to fight to get a meal. It made me never want to take another cruise again. You could do sit down in the main dining room but they only offered this at limited times. The dinners were also sub-par, they advertised tiger shrimp cocktail and what we you get is a tiny piece of shrimp, like you would buy in the discount area at the supermarket. The captains dinner offered Maine Lobster tail and it was more like a crayfish. The steak offered tasted like a piece of roast beef, not a steak. This cruise also charged for bottled water and can soda, never heard of this before! CHEAP! If you buy the soda card its $6 a day per guest but don't dare try to get a full can of soda. The help will rip your hands off. They give it to you sparingly in small plastic cups full of ice. RIP-OFF! The adult beverages are also ridiculously high but I expected this, they have to make their money somewhere!

The staff that we came in contact with were very pleasant and very helpful but after talking to them they couldn't wait to get off the boat! Not happy and or satisfied workers of Carnival Cruise line. The entertainment as far as the comedians and the newlywed show are a must see.

Close to elevators but quiet. Nice balcony and enough space for 2 people!
