Overall, we enjoyed our week on the Sun. It's an older smaller ship, but it does not feel that way. It was easy to navigate around the ship, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the Observation Lounge. It offers a 180 degree view at the front of the ship, and has access to an outside deck. I read a lot of negative reviews about this ship prior to leaving, but I never had any of the problems that were mentioned. Treat the staff with respect, and they will do the same. They work very long days, and have very little downtime. Remember to relax, this is a vacation.

Embarkation/Debarkation - We had no problems getting on, or getting off the ship. I don't think we have ever gotten on a ship in less time. Debarkation was delayed slightly because there were about 10 non-US citizens that did not seem to want to go through immigration. After announcing for over an hour for these folks to report, they finally called them by name. Even with this, we still left at the estimated time for our color tag. On port days we usually waited to avoid the rush. We had an excursion booked for the tender port in Cayman, so we did not have to worry about standing in line to get a tender ticket. However, we arrived in the theater at 12:15 per our tender ticket, and the group was already gone. Always show up at least 10 minutes earlier than your indicated excursion time.

Stateroom -- We were in an inside cabin, but it seemed larger than staterooms on other NCL ships. There was plenty of storage in cabinets, and room under the bed. The only problem for me was the small shower. If this had been just a few inches bigger in diameter it would have made a world of difference.
