Background:
We were a party of 4, myself and DH, in one AFT Penthouse on deck 10 and my friend and my sister-in-law next door to us in another AFT Penthouse.. it was their first cruise. It was our 5th cruise on NCL. We were looking forward to obtaining silver status after this cruise but because of the new point system, we were actually made silver before the cruise.
This was our 4th cruise on a Jewel Class ship, we had sailed twice on the Gem and once on the Pearl so we were very familiar with the layout of the ship. It felt like coming home.
