We just returned from a wonderful 12 night cruise from Southampton on Independence of the Seas. We are a family of four from Australia, 2 adults with a 20 year old daughter and 17 year old son. Here is a summary of our cruise:

Embarkation: Long line but moved quite quickly. Enjoyed lunch straight away at Windjammers and cabins were ready immediately. 2 of us had luggage right away but 2 had to wait until much later.

Cabins: We had 2 balcony cabins with interconnecting doors (which was very handy to have!). The cabins were really lovely, quite spacious and spotlessly clean.
