This was our 9th cruise on Celebrity. We are a couple in our late 50s/early 60s who enjoy R&R in the sun after Xmas and this cruise was a 'back to back' with the Eclipse.

It was instructive to compare the two ships. Millenium seems quite small after the Eclipse and almost more welcoming, if slightly old fashioned. The ship is due to go into dry dock in April to be refurbished and 'Solsticised' - and it needs it. The ship was not in great condition, there was a lot of rust showing,

some chairs were very worn, and maintenance and cleaning standards had clearly been allowed to lapse in some areas -- a pity. The ship itself is more traditional in plan than the Eclipse and it's much easier to find your way about. Walking through bars and lounges is so much better than walking along a corridor past them.
