I had read reviews about msc cruises and the ship msc splendida and a lot had said how bad it was well i can tell you they were wrong. I got picked from the airport and taken to the ship bags taken off me and shown were to check in, the check in staff were really friendly and helpful one thing i would recommend is go on line before you go and do priority boarding saves a bit of queueing when got on to the ship we were met by staff who showed you to your room and the bags were out side the door the room was spotless and a good size.As i was unpacking a cabin steward came in and introduced him self and said if there was anything i needed wouldn't be a problem a good start.
as i walked round the ship i could not help notice how clean everything was not a bit of rubbish any were the brass and all glass shining they have staff cleaning day and night. The staff everyone i met and i mean everyone was very friendly and couldn't do enough for you they didn't pass you without saying hello and even though no staff were English they could still have a conversation with you.The restaurant staff were excellent had the same two waiters all week so friendly, quick nothing was to much bother, the bar staff were fantastic once they got to know you i didn't have to ask for a drink it just arrived waiter service was just as good they were straight over always smiling and helpful. Food was gorgeous I'm a plain eater but the choice was unbelievable i ate things i never had before and you could get as much as you wanted and free breakfast in bed is a nice touch. We had two gala evenings on the cruise i would recommend going they are not to be missed.
On the cruise i thought i would be board but that's not the case firstly walking round the ship would take 2 days or more every night a programme was left on the bed telling you what was on the next day and every day apart from one there was an excursion. The excursions well organized from the meeting place to getting the bus the guide showing you around and the place its self.
