Sail Date: Jan 2012

We recently sailed on the Celebrity Equinox for the second time on January 2, 2012. The year before we sailed on the ship for ten days to the Eastern Caribbean. This year to Central America.

We said in Aqua Class, which is well worth the additional cost. Our cabin was very nice albeit small. My only negative comment about the cabin is that it lacks drawer/shelf space. I think that because the couch is so large, it takes up too much room in the cabin, which could be better used for a drawer and or shelf space. Also, our bed was next too the balcony, so going to the bathroom at night was difficult navigating the cabin and tripping over the furniture in the narrow walking space.

Our cabin stewards Egga and Mohammed were great in keeping our cabin clean. Both were very efficient and always had a smile and a pleasant greeting. The Blu restaurant was excellent. The staff, Jose, Roberto, the female wine sommelier as well as the female Asst Matre's were excellent. The staff in the specialty restaurant, Tuscan grill also were friendly and really accommodating. We also dined in Murano and the staff and food were also very good. We had lunch at the buffet and grill. Food and choices were great. They also had a dessert buffet one evening. Since we aren't big dessert eaters, not so interesting for us. In addition, they had a nice brunch in the main dining room one day, which was very good.

Cabin Review

Cabin AQ

We highly recommend Aqua Class. Our cabin, was in a great location, Deck 11 with cabins above and below us. So very quite and not far from elevator and staircase.
