After reading many, many of the reviews for the Carnival Dream on Cruise Critic, my husband and I spent hours searching for another cruise, another line, anything because we were so fearful of an awful vacation! However, when no alternates were found, we stayed with our Eastern Caribbean booking and have just returned from a wonderful cruise. This was our 4th time cruising (see past cruises at the bottom) I'll try to keep it short and grade each element with explanation

Food = A: The food was excellent and plentiful, both in the dining room, at the buffet and at the Chef's Art Steakhouse (fee required) I also give Carnival extra points for having 24 hour ice cream and pizza (our last RCL had limited hours for those offerings) and free 24-hour room service.

Service = A: Excellent service, no complaints
