In the morning we took a taxi into Bridgetown to have a wander about, then we walked back to the ship to pick up our swim suits. En route we stopped at a few local craft shops and a cigar factory - this was quite interesting. There were 6 woman working on various stages of the cigars and we were invited in to stand and watch while they told us what they were doing. From there we were a 5 minute walk back to the ship. We had intended to take a taxi to the Boatyard, but instead joined a group of 8 others who were doing a 2 hour island tour followed by an hour at a beach.

Barbados

We joined some other cruise critic members on a tour with Cosol Tours and had a blast. It was a great day and we loved St Lucia. I'd recommend Cosol to anyone looking for a tour of St Lucia. Make sure you take some $1 bills though - that was the price to use the loo, except at the drive in Volcano - there it was free.
The tour itself was great value and included local food & drink.

St. Lucia

We booked independently with Antigua Paddles; 1/2 day of kayaking, snorkeling / swimming. Enjoyed it immensely and it was a great alternative to an island tour.

Antigua

We booked independently with Bernard's Tours. It was another great day, wonderful tour, great tour guide. Maho beach was a blast.

St. Maarten

We didn't have anything booked at St Thomas and thought we'd be able to get a tour at the dock. We jumped into a pick up truck/taxi/tour bus contraption for what we thought was going to be a 2 hour tour, but the driver gave no commentary so we got off at the first beach stop. This was Secret Harbour and it was so lovely we spent most of the day here. It was quite sheltered and very quiet - at most there were 20 people at the busiest time - and so relaxing. The water was warm and crystal clear. From the hotel we rented chairs for the day and some snorkeling gear for a reasonable price. We also had a nice lunch in the beach bar. When it was time to go, the hotel receptionist called a cab to take us back to the dock. We then spent a couple of hours in the shops. A truly wonderful day.

St. Thomas

They were all great and there was no danger of missing the ship - the tour guides are well aware of the need to get you back in time.Food/Dining -For breakfast we usually went to the buffet and found something different each day; one day we ordered room service.
