Sail Date: Feb 2005

We have taken our family on 5 cruises. This line was the worst. Our luggage was lost, which the chief purser refused to take responsibility for, not too mention two other bags were torn and our stuff broken both coming and going.

The food was awful, we all got sick the 2nd night, for those of us that ate the fish. The rooms were dirty, and noisy and our mini balcony was a room with two doors that opened inward to reveal a mini WALL and a tender boat that blocked any chance of a view. You also had to keep those curtains closed because at all hours of the days there were deck hands on those boats, cleaning or whatever which I found out when I came out of the shower NAKED to see a man standing at my open window.

The kids activities were a joke and they lost my 9 year old the first day he went, the 12 year olds are unsupervised in a disco room with 17 year olds that were making out each day with no cruise staff anywhere to be seen in the disco room they used for the teen clubs. The 7 year old was in a room with 3 sicker than you know what kids, so he never went back there and our excursion to the Ixtapa Island getaway was dirty, the snorkeling cost more (they didn't tell you up front) and the tour guide bus driver was either drunk or blind while driving what was to be an air conditioned bus that was hot as heck that he almost drove into about a dozen parked cars, but managed to miss them by hitting every branch on every tree on the road. We get to this island to change in what we were told was bathrooms, only to step into a little hole in a wall that had 3 inches of human waste all over the floor and holes in the walls that allowed everyone to see you, but who cares because there wasn't even a toilet, just a hole in the ground where everyone made a toilet, which explained the human waste. My kids got bit by sand sharks, my husband thrown into a bed of rocks that got sea earchent quills all in his legs and arms, that sent them all to the infirmary where they barely had the ability to help us.
