Sail Date: Feb 2005

This was my 5th cruise and the first for Celebrity. The Millennium was a fabulous experience. I would not hesitate to sail with them again. I did not meet anyone on the ship that was not wonderful and all of the staff were very helpful. The food was pretty good on the buffet but we ate every night in the Metropolitan Restaurant mainly because Igor (our waiter) was sooooooooo great!!!!!

The itinerary I feel could have been better. No one needs to be in Dominican Republic till 11:00 pm. We could have spent more time in Nassau and St Thomas. We went to the rain forest in San Juan and it was nice. Not enough time to do excursion and shop in Nassau so I shopped. When we docked in Ft Lauderdale (sometime before 6 am) I could not help but wonder why we could not have spent a little more time in Nassau, especially since they were suppose to be there at 12 noon and didn't let us off until almost 12:30 and we left at 5:30.

Embarkation was very smooth. Disembarkation was very hectic and late. Tried to pile people in the theater while their color was called but hard to get in there with lots of rolling bags.
