Background: This was a family cruise with my elderly parents and my brother and his family. My husband and I live in Tampa and have been on over a dozen cruises on several different lines.
Embarkation: We live in Tampa so getting to the ship was a breeze. We got there around 2 pm and were able to get on very quickly. We did have a problem with the parking garage across the street from the terminal. They charged me twice for the parking and then didn't know how to fix it. I had to fill out a form and am keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't become a problem.
Ship Info: With the exception of some worn carpet in some of the hallways, the ship was in excellent condition. They were always cleaning, but in an unobtrusive way - no vacuums at 8 am like we have heard on other ships. We were happy to see that the staff actually kept the Solarium and adults-only environment. Every so often someone would bring a child in, and if they stayed for more than a few minutes, a staff member would remind the parents of the adults-only policy. THANK YOU Royal Caribbean!!
