The Pride is the only American flagged cruise ship that serves ocean ports. It cruises exclusively in Hawaii. The crew is predominantly American which gives the ship a bit more of a laid back style. This does not mean that service is poor. The crew works hard and although you may hear an occasional grumble, they give you the sense they are enjoying themselves. (I suspect international crews also grumble, I just don't speak their language!)

The best part of the dining experience was the lack of formal nights. Smart casual was the norm. There was another dining room where you could dine in a tee shirt (maybe a bit too casual). Food was very good and it seemed like there were more choices on the menu then on my previous Norwegian Cruise on the Epic.

The Pride had one of the best buffets of any cruise ship I have been on. The serving area was well laid out and the food was excellent. The indoor seating was not adequate but there was plenty of room to dine outside.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin was adequate with sufficient storage space for our needs. Cabin service was excellent.
