Travelled with our 4.5 year-old and my parents for our annual family cruise. We are fans of the Solstice Class ships of Celebrity but wanted to try something different and unique. We are in our mid 40's.

Overwhelmed by the Promenade which felt like a loud and crowded shopping mall with tacky stores and eateries. Not bright and airy, but rather dark and ugly. Loved Central Park, which is where we had our first lunch onboard at the Park Cafe (best place for breakfast). Boardwalk was cute and my son loved the carousel. The only outstanding meal we had was at 150 Central Park. Otherwise, food was bad to mediocre. Service levels varied. Encountered a lot of indifferent crew members who did not seem so customer service oriented. Ship always felt crowded and felt stressed out by the need to get to each show well-ahead of the start time to get decent seats. Could not relax on the pool deck because of constant live music and continuous attempts by servers to sell alcohol and other beverages. Hate the system where you have to check out towels and return them to towel desk each day to prevent charge of $20 per towel. Constant nickel and diming and ridiculous policy that you can't get back on the ship with open bottles of water. Some people had the Belgian chocolates they purchased at a port confiscated before getting back on the ship without any clear explanation as to why, "Royal Caribbean Policy". Kids Club was fantastic. Also had to visit the medical facility a few times because my son had bronchitis. Medical staff were wonderful!! Health Club well equipped, but little natural light. Spa was disorganized.

In sum, never again on Royal Caribbean, and especially on the Oasis class ships. Celebrity is more my speed and a better cruise experience for my taste.

Spacious but heard a lot of banging and swooshing of toilets.
