Silhouette was a wonderful ship. We are long time RCCL cruisers, first time Celebrity. We had the best time. The staff all seemed to go out of their way to assist passengers. I was observing an elderly lady trying to get a hamburger from the "healthy food" out door bar. She could only utter ham-bur-ger in English. Rather than explain they had no hamburgers there, the staff told her to be seated and asked a server to run upstairs where he got her burger and fries and delivered it to her where she waited.

I went to the grand brunch and i inquired if they were out of the great French bread. The waiter asked where i was seated, he ran upstairs and returned with a basket of bread for me. This seemed to be our entire experience until the " elegant tea". i agree with an earlier post , it was a JOKE! I had looked forward to it all week. We were first in line and headed fora window seat, as did others. We grab the last one, it being the farthest from the center. We had little metal pots of hot water at our seat. Ten minutes later we were passed one tea bag. After thirty long minutes were were offered a tray holding three choices of tea sandwiches. We each took one. After twenty more minutes along came the scones and jelly and whipped cream, no clotted cream. I asked if there were to be other sandwiches, and she said she didn't know. She returned with the leftovers of the original sandwiches. A waitress came around with eclairs and totally passed us by. We got up and left at that point as did others, over an hour of wasted time. Please don't insult us calling this an "elegant tea".

Our cabin was great. There are some design issues that for the life of me i don't know how get past so many without being caught during production. For example, if you happen to be a person who likes to put there face down in the sink in the morning to wash your face you will likely knock your teeth out on the faucet that jaunts out over the entire sink..WHY? And if you put stuff in the right side of the closet, you will not be able to bend over to retrieve it without fighting the sofa that is six inches away. There are no place for shoes, or shelves for folded t- shirts or slacks except above the bed. It is like staying in a very small motorhome. Read more
