Noordam Cruise Review by agnes baker
- Sail Date: November 2011
- Destination: Southern Caribbean
- Cabin Type: Large Interior Stateroom
The ship was very clean and the staff were excellent. We found the excursions to be expensive we did three and did not find them value for money so we organised our own from the pier and they proved to be very good and much cheaper.
We ate in the Vista most nights and had the same table 136 as the waiter was excellent could not have had a better standard of service in any London hotel.
We had 2 meals in the Cannelto which were very good and the staff excellent. We did eat in the Lido the food was not as nice as in the Vista but if you were in a hurry it was okay but big queues.
The shows were a real dissappointment so amateurish The only good act was Kenny James and he was only on 1 night.
We found there was not enough to do in the evenings the cookery shows were in the daytime and the computer courses were right on meal times. We are too old for disco so it would have been nice to have something besides the show to do at night
The pool area was very good plenty of beds and very clean.
we did wonder why we stopped in Martinque on a Sunday when everything was closed
We had excellent bedroom stewards Angung and Aknes nothing too much trouble and the cabin was kept spotless.
All in all I would say our only problem was boredom
