Our waiter (Luis) was the best waiter we have ever had on Celebrity. He would describe in detail how the food was prepared. As my spouse has food allergies, he would explain why she should not have certain items on the menu. The food was delivered promptly and Luis would continually check to see that everything was to our satisfaction. Following dinner, Luis would bring the next evening's menu and review it with my spouse.

As for the sommelier, it was a different story. On embarkation we had a bottle of champagne in our stateroom. On our request, we had the stateroom attendant deliver it to our table in the dining room. We asked the sommelier to exchange it for a bottle of wine. The sommelier explained that it was a gift from housekeeping and that she could not make the exchange. Ultimately we went to Customer Service to resolve the problem.

Our stateroom attendant was excellent. On a daily basis he would enquire how he could make our stay even better. Every task we asked him to do he did well and swiftly without complaint. At all times we found him very polite and courteous.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 1

Cabin C1

Our Cabin was 8045. The room was quite good. The balcony was over-sized with an extra triangular piece which increased the usable space by 58% (I used a tape measure). The view was partially obstructed looking towards the stern due to window cleaning equipment.
