This would be our 23rd cruise. The ship itself is very nice. Spacious, don't feel crowded except for certain times in the buffet in the afternoon at sea. We did encountered norovirus but thankfully non of us were affected by it. First time on the Concierge class, and even though it's nice, but the price doesn't justify it, so will probably just stick to a regular verandah class in the future. Food are great by cruise ship standard. Murano was a little disappointing. Too much hat and no cowboy. The paid restaurants on Princess were much better. Especially enjoyed the lawn. We enjoyed the ship overall.

Barcelona - we've been here many times in the past. So we just took it easy here, and did some shopping and browsing. We stayed just north of the Plaza Catalunya, which made it convenient to get to the hotel on the RENFE train, which cost a mere subway ride from the airport, and no transfer as the hotel is 10 mins walk from Passeig De Garcia station. We bought 8 bottle of wines here, and 4 went into our carry on and 4 into the check in luggage. No problems except we had to go down to the naughty room to retrieve our luggage on the first day of the cruise since they found liquid. They let us took it with us anyway.

Villefranche Sur Mer - Weather causes port to diverted to Cannes. Cannes is an average town, lots of shopping, very modern and a small older part of town where we sat and had some Beaujolais at the end of the day. We visited Cagnes Sur Mer and St. Paul De Vence on our own. In the past, we've visited Monaco, Villefranche Sur Mer and Nice in the past. Enjoyed all of them, but want to see something new. We walked to the train station, but tickets to Cagnes. From Cagnes, we walked to the main bus depot (about 10 mins walk, get off train station, cross the street and walk right). From the bus depot we took the complimentary bus up to Cagnes Sur Mer. Buses are consistently frequent at least for us at that time. From there, we visited the old town, and took the free bus back to the main bus station in Cagnes. Here, we immediately caught the bus to St. Paul De Vence. Ride is about 15 mins or so. Lovely town again. A few streets to walk up and down on. From here, we took the bus back to Cagnes, and from there we took train back to Cannes. Walked around Cannes a bit and call it a day.
