Mariner of the Seas Cruise Review by b&elovecruising
- Sail Date: November 2011
- Destination: Western Caribbean
- Cabin Type: Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony
Ports and tour selections were also good. Ship was showing signs of wear, but was very well maintained. Stateroom and balcony were very nice and clean. We really liked the set-up and it was roomy.
Negative side - There were over 900 kids on this Thanksgiving cruise. Kids constantly walked and ran through the solarium (for adults only) and they were all around the exercise track walking the wrong way, cutting through, etc. There were also no quieter areas in the dining rooms, as quiet tables for two had families of 6 and 8 all around them.
Production shows were okay, but not the strong themed shows I am used to. Casino machines were old and worn, and there weren't many options.

Belize CityWe did the ruins/Old River cruise tour. They were fabulous and I would recommend this to everyone. Guides were very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. Wildlife was phenominal!View All 2,217 Belize City Cruise Port Reviews

CozumelWe always go to the public beach in Cozumel and then walk through the shops. We always have a good time snorkeling and swimming. They have added a nice nature trail. Loved it!View All 5,718 Cozumel Cruise Port Reviews

RoatanThey made several upgrades to this port since the last time we were there. We did the catamaran tour, and it was a lot of fun. Snorkeling wasn't good - maybe because seas were choppy when we were there.View All 2,529 Roatan Cruise Port Reviews
