We love the warm weather so my husband and I decided to take a week away from our kids! Just us! We chose this cruise because it seemed to have a great itinerary! We have been on 5 cruises now and this was the absolute best we have been on! We would do this one again!

We left from San Juan, Puerto Rico. We flew there from Washington State so unfortunately we didn't get much time there before getting on the ship-if we do it again we will definitely add a day to the end of our cruise to try to see this place more. Getting on the ship was very easy-I think we arrived at the cruise terminal around 12:30 and got right on! We chose to get a suite for the bigger space in the cabin as well as a bigger bathroom. It was perfect and also gave us VIP service so we didn't have to wait in any lines! Once we got to our stateroom we went and had lunch at the buffet and then headed to the pool and spent the afternoon there! Already very relaxing! We went to dinner that night in the dining room-which was ok. The food was actually pretty good, but the service lacked a little bit. I would say that was the case throughout the entire cruise. We chose the anytime dining-which was a first for us-for the convenience of going whenever we wanted. The problem with this is we never got the same waiter and never got that relationship with them by the end of the cruise like our others. We had some waiters which were great, but the majority of the time things were slow. My dinners were good though.

Day 2-we stopped in St. Thomas. Love this port!
