Sail Date: Nov 2011

Got back from the shortened 11/6/11 trip to Bermuda on the Carnival Pride. I took a while to write about because I had such mixed feelings about the ship and the whole vacation.

First up, we left from Baltimore. We were called Saturday night and told the sailing would be delayed on Sunday. Then we received an e-mail later Saturday night saying we would leave on Monday morning. After contacting our travel agent we found out Carnival has the right to change up to 24 hours of our vaction and we couldn't cancel. This was upsetting because we knew we would lose the whole day in Bermuda. The reason we went on the Pride was the good itinerary for Bermuda. Royal Carribean's Enchantment also goes to Bermuda but she has the shortened time in port that we ended up with.

Embarkation on Monday was smooth. We were allowed into our cabin as soon as we came on board. Food was available. The cabin, a balcony, was a very nice size and was well taken care of. The ship itself is different from the three others we have been on. It is darker and smaller but we liked the interior design except for the murals on the elevators and in the cabin halls. Nothing terrible just not very attractive.
