RCCL - "WHY NOT" make your first cruise out of Galveston 7 or 8 nights and spend a night or two preparing to get things right? There were terrible, unorganized lines to embark. No separation between the line waiting to check bags and those trying to get on the ship. No Diamond line to embark until inside the building, which meant we waited in a block long line just to get into the building along with everyone just checking luggage, as well. I think we were stopped at 5 different points to check passports. Once at the beginning and once at the sign-in desk should be sufficient. At any rate, don't put a stop point at the top of the escalators so that there is no room for people getting off the escalators when they get to the top. DUH!

Windjammer lunches were horrible, unless all you wanted was a ham sandwich. Even the cookies were so overcooked the first few days they were inedible. Tough pork in main dining room, later served in Windjammer in stew. Soggy quesadillas.

Ice show tickets passed out to long lines. Many passengers took too many, and if you were at the end of the line, you had no choice. Then there were empty spaces at the shows. I counted at least 100 in the "sold out" show we attended. There needs to be SOME control over tickets.
