We cruised on the Pearl to the Eastern Caribbean in November of 2009, so decided that we would like to go on the Pearl again with a different itinerary! We were just as thrilled with this cruise as we were 2 years ago!

We had an oceanview on Deck 8 that was perfectly comfortable for the 2 of us. Lots of space in the drawers and closet after stowing our luggage under the bed. Chris was our cabin steward, and was wonderfully cheerful and attentive the entire week. We are not terribly demanding, but when we needed a champagne bucket the first night, he was back with it within minutes! Always asking us if we needed anything...and made the cutest towel animals...especially loved the monkey swinging from the ceiling!!

We got to meet many of the officers, including the hotel director, Klaus, at our CC Meet and Greet! They had lots of interesting things to say, and we learned a lot about what goes on behind the scenes, and about the new ship, Breakaway. Read more
