Getting on the ship was a long wait, but when we disembarked the ship, it was the smoothest exit we every experienced. The Tampa port people were very friendly, too.
This was the first RCI Jr. Suite we had. It surprised me with plenty of walking space around the bed, to the sofa and chairs. I was further surprised to see a walk-in closet, and a full size tube - dare I say even bigger than the one in my own home! Wall to floor fine tile in the bathroom added a touch of elegance. And I will add that I had more cabinet and storage space than I could fill in the stateroom.
We went on the cruise with my son and his wife, and I peeked in at their regular balcony room and was also surprised to see a good deal of walking room. Each of our staterooms also did not have the telltale sign of wear and tear. The wood treatments and clothed furniture appeared in brand-new condition. Bedding super comfortable, too.
The Junior Suites were surprising large. The decks double size, too. Big walk-in closets. We were on an aft side cabin, where we didn't feel the motion at all.
