The Carnival Cruise that needs a lot of work. We have sailed Royal Caribbean3 times before this and MSC was our first cruise ever. We were really looking forward to cruising to the Caribbean. Unfortunately we didn't make it there until Friday, four days after we left Galveston.

As soon as we set sail and were held captive by Carnival, they then decided to give us a letter in our staterooms telling us the ship is broke. It then went on to tell us that instead of going to Costa May(Caribbean), we would be stopping in Progresso (Gulf of Mexico), for two days. Progresso, Mexico is like going on vacation to Jaurez, Mexico with muddy sea water to look at. It is probably one of the worst places to ever go to on vacation. Carnival should be ashamed of themselves for calling it a port, or maybe it explains Carnival as a company. They are the only cruise line that goes there. I would have rather gone to New Orleans or Tampa, both in the Gulf. Carnival should have given everyone the option to cruise or cruise later when we were checking in. But thank you Carnival for the $25 dollars that you gave us. What a joke.

Now the ship, The stateroom was nice. The beds were comfortable. Balcony is small. The breakfast was good, the main buffet food was not good. Stick to the sandwiches, tandor, hamburgers, hot dogs, and pizza. If you want to wait in line for an hour, the mongolian was good. The water slides were great, pool was dirty, warm tubs were ok. The sport court was cool. Mutzie was the highlight of the entertainment.
