The Carnival Magic is a beautiful ship with several additions for cruising fun: water park, Ocean Plaza on the Deck 5, Serenity Deck on 15 and more. Although the crossing of the Atlantic wasn't as smooth as we had hoped, we knew that hurricanes are possible in November. The swaying was fine, but didn't much care for the "shuddering."

Since we had gotten to know so many people on Cruise Critic prior to the cruise, it was easy to find friends to spend time with on the ship and at our ports of call. We found the crew to be very helpful and friendly and enjoyed the shipboard entertainment, especially the Jimmy and the Orchestra and Ron Pass in the piano bar. We also felt that there were plenty of activities (some days too much) to fill the days at sea. Great experience!
