This was my wife and my first cruise together. It was a great escape from our hectic lives and I (who normally love adventure vacationing where you arrive home completely exhausted) even loved it.

Celebrity provided a fantastic escape. We really did feel like celebrities so the name fits well. The staff are first class. The cruise had families on board, but it felt more like an adult cruise.

Our room was on the back of the ship on the bottom deck. The advantage of this location is that you get to see the ports as you sail away. Since this room was the last one near the corner, it was possible to see the whole rear view as well as part of the view off the port side. Downsides of the location are the constant hum of the azipods (360 degree articulating propeller pods), the fact that you can feel movement more since it is at the aft end of the ship, and that the room is a good distance from the elevators. The hum may have been a blessing in disguise though. Once you get used to it, it blocks out other noises.

Cabin C1

Great balcony where you can see both behind the ship and to the port side. Also offered great views of the sunset for our Western Caribbean cruise. The room felt spacious with lots of storage. Nice sized bathroom. Only thing that could be considered a downside was the distance from the rest of the ship.
