Embarkation and Car Parking in Southampton excellent - we arrived at about 11.30 but I did hear there were long queue's later at around 1 p.m. Of course all passengers are told to embark at one o'clock - this may be a mistake as most of the cruisers are from the UK and can time their arrival so "do as they are told" and all arrive at the same time.

Ship is beautiful - our Junior Suite on deck 9 was the biggest one we have had. Staff mostly very good.

Food in the MDR generally good - husband enjoyed the beef and had the steak from the part of the menu that is always available, on many evenings. Waiters excellent. Went for the 10 day gold wine package which suited us. The more expensive package seemed to offer generally the same European, New World and Chilean wines but also included more Californian Wines - and we do not particularly care for them.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite 9326

Excellent: Good balcony, Walk in Wardrobe; Bathtub, Good location near to stairs and elevators and right end of the ship for windjammer and dining rooms.

Spacious and seemed much bigger than our JS on Splendour.
