Sail Date: Dec 2004

Embarkation on this ship was slow to say the least. We stayed over one night in Miami in order to get on early but the lines were horrific. It didn't bother us too much as we were very excited this being our first cruise together. We had some left over cans of beer from the previous night and liquor in a carry on and nothing was said going thru the xray machine which was great. I will not go into detail on the ship as this has been done here many times before. Just some hints ... If you have a balcony room bring a bungee cord with you so you can keep the balcony door open when you want to listen to the sea. Balcony room is well worth the extra $$$$

If you drink pop at your first port take a few 2 liters back on board to have in your room ... keep them in a bag.

A ice tea bottle can hold dark liquor and a water bottle is good for clear liquor. Depending on how much you consume the liquor prices on board can deplete your wallet fast.
