We just got back from a week on the Victory! There were 6 of us and we had a great time. From the time we set foot on the ship it was pamper, pamper, pamper. The staff is remarkable. Thom from Indonesia was our head waiter. He was phonenominal! Every wait staff as well as all of the dining room staff served us with professionalism and care! No request was denied and they went out of their way to have things just as we wanted them.
Our room steward (Hennri) was also very professional. He worked diligently to make sure that every need was accommodated. He cleaned our room 2 times daily, gave us ice 2 times a day and made towel animals and left chocolate every night. What a true delight!
I have read reviews that were somewhat negative about the Victory. Nothing can be further from the truth. True, the ship is a little older, but she is polished up like a crown jewel.
We were in Cabin 1319. Only issue was that when we were in port, everyone had to pass our room to get off the ship. It was a little noisy if you wanted to sleep in.
