Embarkation:

My girlfriend and I left from Dover, DE to Baltimore one day early and availed ourselves of Days Inn's Park and Cruise deal. Instead of parking at the Port for $15 per day totaling $135 we spent the money ($135 exactly) on an extra days vacation in Baltimore and used their free shuttle to the Cruiseport. It worked out very nicely.

We arrived at the Cruiseport around 11:00 am. The computer systems were down so we had to sit in a waiting area after signing in for an hour but everything went very smoothly all in all. We were able to board sometime after 12:00 and went directly to the Windjammer. It wasnt crowded when we arrived but soon became congested. We ate quickly then went up to the Viking Crown Lounge for Sailaway.

Cabin Review

Large Inside Stateroom

Cabin K

Our cabin was 7139, inside stateroom. It had more than enough space for two people. The closet was big enough for both of us, the storage space was more than we needed and the bathroom was plenty big. The shower stall was small but adequate. The only noise problem we had was a creaking wall/ceiling joint but it became background noise after awhile. No complaints at all and actually better than I was expecting.
