We sailed on the Destiny November 5 to November 10, 2011. This was our fourth time on the ship, four years in a row. While this might not have been my first choice of a ship, my decision was only based on the fact that we were part of a group cruise - the Rick Springfield cruise.

While we did not take advantage of any of the Carnival activities, so I cannot comment on those, I can tell you my observations and experiences about the non-Rick Springfield related activities.

Embarkation went very smoothly. We were through security and on the ship within a hour. We arrived at the ship quite early - at 11am. We were immediately greeted by extremely helpful Carnival staff.
