Navigator of the Seas Cruise Review by watsons06
- Sail Date: October 2011
- Destination: Eastern Mediterranean
- Cabin Type: Family Oceanview Stateroom
For our needs, Navigator was a great ship. I agree with other reviews on the friendly staff, great food, plentiful activities, fantastic entertainment. Our teenagers disappeared every day to meet with friends, even staying on board during our last stop in Chania. We had arranged private tours in Ephesus and Athens and our drivers/guides were great.
We ate mostly in the Windjammer rather than the main dining room as self-service suited us. At breakfast and lunch the Windjammer is very busy and it can be difficult to find a seat, but in the evening it is quite relaxed.
Our cabin steward was very helpful and attentive as he had to make up the sofa bed and then stow it away again every day. Staff never passed you without saying hello. Entertainment was first class with "Beatles", "Il Divo", cabaret, mime, ice-skating and lots more. All in all a great holiday and highly recommended.

Crete (Heraklion)Hadn't organised anything. Thought we could have walked to Chania old town, but it was too far. There is a local bus waiting at the dock which takes you there in 15 mins for a few euro. Chania harbour was lovely and the old town is really nice to walk around. The market was fun. No problems getting bus back to the ship.View All 223 Crete (Heraklion) Cruise Port Reviews

KusadasiWe had booked private tour of Ephesus and were met by our guide as soon as we left the ship. We spent the day in Athens and had a look around the shops in Kusadasi before returning to the ship.View All 616 Kusadasi Cruise Port Reviews
