Embarkation. This was a very easy process. We arrived at the Pier about 10:45 AM and were checked in and on board in under an hour. We proceeded to the Windjammer for lunch as the cabins were not ready until 1:30 PM.

Cabin:9568 Jr. Suite. This was our first time in a Junior Suite. It is not a Suite as we know it, it was just a nice large cabin with a large balcony, bathroom with a bathtub and a walk in closet. The cabin had a sofa and a chair with an ottoman. The vanity seemed larger than one in a Balcony Cabin. The bed was really comfortable.

We did have one BIG problem in the cabin. We were resting in the late afternoon and heard a noise that sounded like water from a hose hitting some sort of metal. It lasted a few seconds, stopped and then returned again for a few seconds. We didn't think anything of it until a few minutes later when we opened the bathroom door, there was sewerage all over the bathroom and the smell was awful. I called Guest Services which didn't answer immediately so I called Maintainance. They told me they would be up shortly. We did find a Maintainance person on the floor and he said he would get on it.

Junior Suite

Cabin JS

Independence of the Sea Junior Suite 9568. It is a nice large room, but not a suite with separate seating area. Bathroom had a nice tub and granite sink. Walk in closet which had alot of room. This room was across from Service Doors but didn't hear anything. There was not alot of people walking through the halls which was good. Balcony was a nice size. One problem was that one day there was some sort of backup in the toilet and we had sewerage all over the bathroom.
